Pilates is a form of exercise created to stretch, strengthen and balance your body using specific exercises and focused breathing.  The principles behind the method focus on whole body movement, control, centering, precision and rhythm, with the emphasis on creating proper posture and movement patterns.  The benefits of Pilates are not only useful for those looking to improve upon their fitness routines, but are invaluable for sports training, injury prevention and physical rehabilitation. 

At Reed Performing Arts & Pilates Center, we offer both Mat and Equipment Pilates classes in a group, semi-private or private capacity.  Classes are held in studio. Additionally, Mat classes may be held online.
